It's under way

The pond has been dredged out and 213 truckloads of silt was taken away. The edges look great.
A quick count shows 14 springs feeding the pond so it didn't take long to fill back up.
A water hydrant was installed so the Wilton Fire Department can use the pond water to help fight fires. It's a 6" tube running from the pond up close to the driveway for easy access.
There is still a lot of landscaping to be done, grass seed to be put down and the silt fence removed but so far no major problems.
Trout arrived a week before Kids Fishing day.

7/8/2012 It's year two of the pond renovation. We are having some problems with the weeds but we are taking steps so it doesn't take over the pond. All in all everything is going great!
11/2013 We treated the pond for weeds this year and have added some hybrid Blugills and are going to add more next spring.
